Dr. Chiche lectures at Boulder Seattle Study Club

In November 2018 Dr. Gerard Chiche was invited to speak to the Boulder Seattle Study Club. His presentation–‘Esthetic Treatment & Esthetic Materials’ started with a morning hands-on demonstration of proper veneer preparation techniques. In the afternoon lecture Dr. Chiche reviewed the physical properties of lithium disilicate and the various zirconia materials currently available in dentistry. He covered the criteria to use when selecting the appropriate material for the restorative case. The attendees increased their knowledge of esthetic materials and gained valuable tips on improving their veneer prepping techniques. I had the honor of picking up Dr. Chiche at the airport and returning him to the airport at the end of his presentation. As residents of New Orleans we have the shared experience of surviving Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.
